Warehouse Associate (Hope, KS)

 

Requirements:

 

The ideal candidate will have an agricultural background, agricultural seeds experience, or farm experience, including basic knowledge of agriculture.

Basic Description:

 

The Seed Operations Associate will be based at the Hope, KS location, which is directly south of Abilene, KS, at 980 Hwy 15. Candidate will assist in maintaining the plant and related equipment and execute maintenance plans and schedules, help fill orders, load and unload trucks. Some physical lifting and forklift operation is required.

Duties:

​

• Become a member of the Phillips Seed Farms operations team

• Help pull orders, load and unload trucks, by using a forklift in a safe manner

• Manage and organize seed inventory

• Learn the functions of receiving seed production and the process flow from cleaning, packaging, and delivering to customers

• Assist in various types of seed packaging

• Assist in the general maintenance and cleanliness of the facility

• Agricultural work experience is preferred
